Projet of Health
Primary Health Care
The objective is to give the possibility to the children ill or wounded to go to the centre of Uganda Children Centre, in order to be examined by a nurse who gives medical consultation twice per week.
Moreover, Maison des Enfants du Monde supports the monthly renewal of medicines in the centre.
Health education
The social workers of Uganda Children Centre organize regular workshops of health education in order to make the children and particularly the teenagers aware of AIDS, contraceptives, ways of transmission of the most common diseases (malaria, tuberculosis, worms…), and the basic rules of hygiene.
