The objective of the project is to make the local communities from the slums of Kampala aware to children’s rights, hygiene, nutrition and health, by the organization of regular sensitization workshops. The social workers of Uganda Children Centre organize regular workshops in the slums of Kampala to be able to reach more people. This work of sensitization is very important to increase the participation and involvement of local communities in the reintegration of street-children.
