To inaugurate the new headquarter of Maison des Enfants du Monde in Madrid, the association has organized a photo-exhibition about the living conditions of street-children in Uganda. This was the second time that these pictures were shown. In fact, the first exhibition took place in Brussels in October 2003. More than 100 people assisted to the opening of the exhibition which took place on Satuday 28th in the Casa Canarias of Madrid. The exhibition was followed by a solidarity dinner which aim was to collect funds to implement a new project of vocational training for 20 street-children in Kampala. Thanks to the generosity of all the assistants, this project will start in April and will allow 20 street-children to follow several trainings in carpentry, mechanics and hair-dresser.
